So there is like awesome little apple orchard here in CT that we went to in September. We picked tons of apples to can applesauce and make other goodies and we also took a wagon ride. We had a great time before it started to downpour and we got some cute pictures as well.

I cannot believe that on August 29, my baby had her first day of kindergarten. It was heart wrenching to see her get on the bus and drive away from me. My sweet little girl. Luckily she has an amazing teacher, Mrs. Austin, and she has made tons of friends and pretty much just loves going everyday. Now it’s just me and little Sierra….
For those of you who know me, I kind of like meeting famous people. Even if they’re dead. I found out that Catherine Hepburn is buried in West Hartford, so one Saturday we drove up there to see her grave. This cemetery had a lot of semi famous or influential people buried there as well. I can’t for the life of me remember any – oh, I do. Samuel Colt, the gun guy. Anyhoo, it was a pretty cemetery and I had a fun time :)
Periodically my children like to dress like mommy and daddy. I think they pull it off rather well :)

Guess who turned 32!!!! My handsome hubby. We had a nice dinner and celebration at home. We sure do miss family around for things like these…
Holy smokes, where did the summer go! Probably the same place my blog updates went. Sigh… This is going to be numerous posts of our adventures this summer. I have no time (unless previously done earlier) to edit, photoshop, or even care if the light quality or picture is not up to Linley standards. I just used 2 hours of my life going through all our pics from this summer and deciding what to use – I ain’t editing them! Lol. With that said, let the blogging updates begin!!!!
Our first summer here in Connecticut was awesome, with visits from Austin’s family and spending time with friends and our little family. Austin’s mom and dad and brother and wife and their kids stayed with us in July and we kept them pretty busy running around here and there.
