About a month ago we headed over to Mystic to check our there aquarium and the seaport.  Very cute little town and the kids had a blast.

Rocky Hill Dinosaur Park

So there’s this little Dinosaur Park in Rocky Hill.  We went up there one Saturday and had a great time.  Inside the Museum, they had a huge section that are the original dinosaur tracks from 200 million years ago.  Apparently we didn’t get a great pic of it, but it was really awesome.  There were also some great hikes around the park.

Lost Acres

So there is like awesome little apple orchard here in CT that we went to in September.  We picked tons of apples to can applesauce and make other goodies and we also took a wagon ride.  We had a great time before it started to downpour and we got some cute pictures as well.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I cannot believe that on August 29, my baby had her first day of kindergarten.  It was heart wrenching to see her get on the bus and drive away from me.  My sweet little girl.  Luckily she has an amazing teacher, Mrs. Austin, and she has made tons of friends and pretty much just loves going everyday.  Now it’s just me and little Sierra….

Cedar Hill Cemetery

For those of you who know me, I kind of like meeting famous people.  Even if they’re dead.  I found out that Catherine Hepburn is buried in West Hartford, so one Saturday we drove up there to see her grave.  This cemetery had a lot of semi famous or influential people buried there as well.  I can’t for the life of me remember any – oh, I do.  Samuel Colt, the gun guy.  Anyhoo, it was a pretty cemetery and I had a fun time :)
