So I took Kylie in for her 6 month appointment. Poor kid had to get more shots, so I made sure to have Austin come with me. I bawled like a baby when they had to prick her foot on her very first visit. I hate seeing her in pain! Austin stays with her while the nurses give her her shots and I go back to the waiting area. Anyway, she is 6 1/2 months old, weighs 14 pounds and is 2 feet and 1 inches. She only gained a pound in 2 months! The doctor said that she is fine and not to worry about it. I guess I just have a petite girl. She must have got my genes because her daddy was a chunk when he was little :) She also started to say "da da" yesterday and she wont stop! It's so cute. I cant believe how much she is changing. She is quite the little cutie. Oh, and for those of you wondering how often she blinked today, I counted 4 times :)

Bring in the New Year!

Well our little Kylie is growing up. She has recently been starting to sit up by herself. If she gets too distracted with a toy though she will topple right over, but its amazing to see her grow and learn something new.

We had a little photo shoot one morning after she woke up. She wasn't very smiley, which I think was because she was annoyed that she wasnt getting fed :)

Oh the many faces of Kylie... Dont you just love the drool! I swear shes going to get teeth any day now.

New Kitchen!

Before Austin came out to Illinois for Christmas, he was kind enough to paint our kitchen. He did such a great job! I love it so much. I was kind of worried that it would turn pink, but it didnt (thank goodness). I love it!

This year, Austin, Kylie and I spent Christmas with my family in Illinois. I flew out on December 16th and Austin came the week after. It was so much fun to be with my family during this time of year. Here is a picture of my sister Brenna and Kylie. Thanks Grandma Mills for the dress!

We found some reindeer antlers and some policeman glasses for Kylie to try on. I thought she looked dang cute! She looks like a reindeer cop. My brothers had fun dressing her up and laughing at how funny she looked.

Here is Kylie on Christmas Day. My mom and sister bought her these Christmas pj's. I love the little hat!

On December 26th we went to my grandparents house and celebrated my birthday... a week early :) We had my favorite food which is pepper steak. My grandma surprised me by buying an ice-cream cake from Dairy Queen (which I love). Afterwards we all played Apples to Apples. My brother Damian insists on making this face every time I take pictures. Brothers....
