Blast from the past

So one of my favorite roommates from Ricks College came down with her husband and baby to visit Utah this past week. It was so good to see Heather and her cute little boy Andrew :) They came over Thursday night and had dinner with us and then we played video games afterwards :) Nothing like busting out the 'ol Nintendo 64 for some entertainment! On Friday Kylie and I went with them up to SLC. It was so much fun to see the sites again. We went to the church history museum and temple square. We ate at the Lion House (good food but WAY overpriced) and then went to the Conference Center and got a super fast tour. The whole reason we wanted to do the tour was because we wanted to go on the roof. But when we got there they informed us that there was a meeting that was going to start in 15 minutes, so the lady showed us the tour on warp speed. It was still fun to finally go on the roof of the conference center. It was also fun to be in the conference center when it was empty. It is a HUGE room. Our last stop was the visitor center. We went up to see the big statue of Christ and as we are sitting there and everyone is quiet as they start playing the thing over the speakers, Kylie starts jabbering like INSANELY loud. It was suppose to be this reverent sort of presentation and she's just a talking away. I had to shove some Cheerios in her mouth so she would be quiet. It was embarrassing to say the least. Anyway, I had such a fun time with you Heather! Thanks again for coming to see me!

So I don't think Kylie is smiling in any of these pictures...

i love your new picture of you guys. i had so much fun visiting you guys. i really wish we would have had a couple more days up there. and i checked out that tai pan website, they don't let you order anything off it!! it's kinda like an informational thing, they tell you where the stores are and the hours. boo. because they had some christmas stuff on the page and it looked really cute. hopefully we will be able to come out again next year. i want to come when there is snow, but matthew doesn't.

I know why you changed the main picture on your blog - it's cause you look smoooooking hot in it:) Remember how you were scared of me and Tamara when we moved in with you cause you thought we were going to be preachy annoying return missionaries...and we were, but we got you to like us, well, me at least.
